Kodai-ji - “the silver temple” - is breathtaking. The buildings are perfect Japanese architecture. The zen gardens are the essence of a of zen garden. The Tsukiyama style garden is stunning, especially during autumn and cherry blossom.

Wander throught the emerald-sparking bamboo grove and look for the tiny teahouses hidden inside - If you’re lucky, you will find them.
