The English Garden is a peaceful micro cosmos right in the heart of Munich. Students reading on the lush meadows, couples holding hands under the old oaks, families strolling around the creeks. Just sit down, relax and watch the occasional jogger passing by while you enjoy a cold “Helles” - or visit the traditional Biergarten beneath the 25 meter high Chinese tower. You can bring your own food as long as you order a “Weizen”!

Afterwards, rent a paddle boat to explore the calm waterways or try to find the charming “Japanisches Teehaus”. On your way out, join the cheering crowd on the river Eisbach near Prinzregentenstraße. You will be thrilled about the fearless surfers hitting the heavy current and riding the artificial waves. A good place to enjoy another “Helles”.

Oh, don’t forget to take a selfie at the “Monopteros” - preferably in front of Munich’s skyline at sunset of course.
